Definition of Recount

Recount may be a text that retells events or experiences within the past. Its purpose is either to tell or to entertain the audience. there's no complication among the participants which differentiates from narrative

Generic Structure of Recount

1. Orientation: Introducing the participants, place and time
2. Events: Describing series of event that happened within the past
3. Reorientation: it's nonmandatory. Stating personal comment of the author to the story

Language Feature of Recount

• Introducing personal participant; I, my group, etc
• victimization written account connection; then, first, etc
• victimization linking verb; was, were, saw, heard, etc
• victimization action verb; look, go, change, etc
• victimization easy past


Recount text is majorly written in past mode. because it tells the story of of sure expertise, it should be written in easy past, past progressive or perfective tense tense. Recount text is extremely just like narrative text. however recount text doesn't explore any complication among the participants, rather it recounts the event per event that happened within the last time. Love Story Started once more at the stunning Party

Nominal and Verbal Sentences in English

The important thing to learn English is tenses, if we have mastered tenses it’s will be easy to use English. But in fact to start studying tenses, little things often overlooked. In addition; before we start learning tenses, better if we know the form of the sentence. If the English in terms of the predicate, then it can be divided into 2 groups: 1.
